Hi! My name is Liza. Welcome to my blog and thanks for visiting! I'm a Midwestern gal now living in the beautiful Land of Enchantment, Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have a plant care business here in town called Good To Grow. I can beautify your home, office, or patio with plants and flowers. I have 12 years of experience growing plants, and friendships.
Plants are living, breathing creatures, and if they're indoor plants, they are 100% dependent on human care. They cannot water themselves.

I didn’t realize that they did that. Do you have a special trick, or is it just that plants are so thrilled to live with you that they rebloom?

That Schlums rebloom? Sure, it happens. They did last year, too. It’s not a trick, I don’t do anything differently with them than the other plants. But they do get a ton of sunshine which they apparently love. All the plants get a few drops of fertilizer every few weeks, and they apparently love that, too.

When is the best time (of the year) to repot my christmas cactus? And if I have a successful cutting, that hasn’t thrived nor failed, should I repot it at the same time? What is the best soil mix for these plants? I live in New England.
