A few weeks ago, I dragged most of the foyer plants out to the front yard for a shower.

I do this every spring and every fall. It’s good for the plants to have their soil flushed. Plus, it must be terribly exciting for them – they never get to go anywhere.

It’s also a chance for me to get the foyer all cleaned up for them. Here they are shortly upon their return from the fieldtrip:

Spoiled much?

One plant in particular seems to be responding rather well to his cleansing. That would be Gus (a Gasteraloe) pumping out a new bloom stalk.
