Hello Aprilers, and happy Friday!

Welcome back to the Good To Grow site, and thanks for being here.

We’re excited that it’s Friday, finally. Friday means that it’s time for our plant puzzler, in which you can prove your plant prowess. It’s good times!

First, our beloved Experts on are on a much-deserved break, so let’s admire their adorableness:

They’re so cute!

And then move on to the plant puzzler:

???Real or Fake???

Last week, the puzzler was courtesy of my long-time friend, the awesome Stephanie Wehrman of Indianapolis. Steph wanted to know if you thought these tulips were real or fake:

Let’s see how you answered:

Joseph Brenner wrote, “Real and oh, so gorgeous.(B>{D=”

Martha from Plowing Through Life wrote, “I’m guessing real. ‘Tis the season for tulips! If this winter ever leaves…sigh…

Claude from Random Rants and Prickly Plants wrote, “Definitely real”

That’s three votes real, zero votes fake.

What’s the correct answer?

Let’s take a wider look:

Good To Grow, real or fake plant puzzler

They’re REAL! And real pretty indeed! Nice bouquet, Steph! You didn’t stump my readers, but that’s not surprising – they’re super smart. I hardly ever get to stump them.

Still, a great puzzler. I appreciate that you shared your photo, so I’d like to award you two bejeweled dinosaur eggs as a thank you. You rock!

Joseph, look at that, you were first with the correct answer again this week! Nicely played! For being so speedy, this week you’ve earned the following title: The fleet-footed, nimble-witted, lion-hearted, glitter-drenched, boldly mustachioed, swift of fingers plant whisperer and grandest champion of the plant puzzler universe and beyond.

Let’s say for example that this weekend you’re enjoying a BBQ with friends and you meet someone new. You should introduce yourself as Joseph Brenner the fleet-footed, nimble-witted, lion-hearted, glitter-drenched, boldly mustachioed, swift of fingers plant whisperer and grandest champion of the plant puzzler universe and beyond. I’m sure you’ll forge lifelong bonds. Congrats. You may multiply all the prizes by three pepper plants.

Everyone’s a winner! Congratulations! To show my gratitude for your participation, I’d like to award you the following prizes: The first weekend in April, four harbingers of spring, enchiladas, one canoe, eight asparagus spears, a deluxe end table, 13 1/2 bonus points, four tennis balls, one slice of chocolate peanut butter pie, a turquoise prom dress, three frog figurines, two green eyes, 16 church bells, one private concert, sunrise marmalade, a round of high-fives, seven kudos and a coupon good for two vouchers. Congrats, and thanks so much for playing!
