Hello bunnies, and happy Friday!

Welcome back to the Good To Grow site, and thanks for being here.

We’ve got a special holiday edition of the puzzler for you coming up, but first, our beloved Experts on are on a much-deserved break, so let’s admire their adorableness:

And now we can move on to the plant puzzler:

???Real or Fake???

Last week, I asked if these flowers were real or fake:

Good To Grow, Liza's photos, real or fake plant puzzler

Let’s see how you answered:

Joseph Brenner wrote, “Fake!(B>{D=”

Claude from Random Rants and Prickly Plants wrote, “Those are fake.

fake, fake, fake”

Steph from Indianapolis wrote, “Heehee fake, but funny!”

Liz from New Mexico wrote, “Fake!”

That’s four votes fake, zero votes real.

What’s the correct answer?

Let’s take another view:

Good To Grow, Liza's photos, real or fake plant puzzler

Oh dang, see what I did there? I should’ve used this photo for the puzzler, and the other one for the close-up. Duh, sorry – I didn’t realize I had this photo until after I’d already published the first one. Anyway, they’re FAKE!

I can definitely understand the desire to want some color through the winter months – especially for barren containers. There are lots of evergreen plants available, or plants that provide winter interest, like ornamental grasses. More beautiful alternatives to plastic flowers. I’m biased toward real plants because, you know, they’re alive and all.

Joseph, you were first with the correct answer, which makes you the best answerer. For being so speedy, this week you’ve earned the following title: “I’m a chocolate-wrapped, sprinkle-splattered, jelly-filled, sugar-coated, festively wrapped, daringly seductive, temptation-laced, high calorie holiday treat and also I won a houseplant blog puzzler.”

Let’s say for example you go to a party this weekend and you meet someone new. You should introduce yourself as Joseph Brenner I’m a chocolate-wrapped, sprinkle-splattered, jelly-filled, sugar-coated, festively wrapped, daringly seductive, temptation-laced, high calorie holiday treat and also I won a houseplant blog puzzler. I’m sure you’ll forge lifelong bonds. Congratulations! You may multiply all the prizes by four rainbows.

Everyone’s a winner, well done! To show you my appreciation for playing, I’d like you each to have the following prizes: One Easter weekend, 14 decorated Easter eggs, two bottles of hot sauce, a velvet bathrobe, pastel cereal, one cosmic bowling ball, an oval mirror, three lattes, one hippity, four stacked enchiladas, one Easter Bunny and her cousin Doreen, 16 bonus points, two painted bookshelves, six spare pockets, 11 1/2 yellow peeps, three gift cards, one hoppity, a half dozen show tunes, eight Easter chicks wearing tiny purple tuxedos, one bottle of honey-scented room spray, an extra bicep, more Easter candy, five chopsticks, a jar of pineapple chunks, seven meteors, a baseball game, one coupon good for a winning ticket, A+, one scavenger hunt and 23 blessings. Congrats, and thanks so much for playing!
