Either the Coleus plants want more sun, or they’re trying to escape the bar:
Doh! I guess it’s been a little while since I’ve checked on the planter at the front of the bar, which I planted with an assortment of greenery, including the Coleus, at the beginning of summer. They’re on drip irrigation, so since then, I just poke my head in every once in awhile to eyeball them. The Coleus plants have certainly done their job – they’ve grown like crazy.
They look like a painting from the parking lot, but um, no. Here’s the view from the inside:
They’re screaming, “Get us out of here! Get us out of here!”
Haha, juuuuust kidding. Nobody wants to leave Billy’s Long Bar – it’s a happening place to hang out. It’s on San Mateo just north of Montgomery in Albuquerque. Go visit! (But don’t expect to see the plants crowded like that – the thinning process has begun.)
Good To Grow is an Albuquerque-based interior and exterior landscaping service. We use plants and flowers to decorate offices, homes and patios around the city. We also offer memorial garden services, meaning that when a loved one passes, we can plant a customized garden in his or her honor. If the person who passed was an avid cook, we can plant an herb garden to honor that person’s memory. If a Veteran dies, we can plant a red, white, and blue perennial flower garden. If you lost a beloved pet, we can plant a garden around the burial site.
If you’d like to know more about the landscaping or memorial garden services offered, please send an email to lizatheplantlady at gmail dot com. Thank you for your consideration.
